This group is a friendly place for owners of Mudi and Mudi mixes to share their herding-related questions, successes, challenges, and stories with fellow handlers. We seek to encourage more participation of Mudi in herding events across North America, so that the breed retains its historical working ability. Feel free to share anything and everything herding and Mudi! Support each other and lets grow the herding Mudi community.

The American Herding Breed Association was founded in 1986 in response to the increasing interest in herding activities by owners of a wide variety of breeds. The AHBA was set up to help provide information in response to inquiries from those interested in herding and the herding breeds. The focus of the AHBA program is on practical herding work.

Dock Diving is one of the fastest growing sports for your dog. North America Diving Dogs is an organization that has enhanced the sport by working with dock diving facilities & competitors across North America.

Providing a non-traditional, skills-based agility venue that allows people to submit dog agility performances for review by video. To give reactive or distracted dogs an equal chance to show off their agility skills, and recognition for the people who love and patiently work with them.

Barn Hunt is the new and quickly growing dog sport catching fire across the country! Barn Hunt is based on the traditional roles of many breeds in ridding farms, barns, crop storage areas, and homes of destructive vermin.

UpDog is a disc and dog sport organization. The mission of UpDog is to increase the number of dog owners participating in disc and dog sports

Skyhoundz, along with awesome contest hosts and volunteers, stages the largest disc dog competition series in the World. Sponsored by Hyperflite Flying Discs, the Skyhoundz Series features more than 100 disc dog competitions held throughout the world.

Flyball races match two teams of four dogs each, racing side-by-side over a 51 foot long course. Each dog must run in relay fashion down the jumps, trigger a flyball box, releasing the ball, retrieve the ball, and return over the jumps. The next dog is released to run the course but can't cross the start/finish line until the previous dog has returned over all 4 jumps and reached the start/finish line. The first team to have all 4 dogs finish the course without error wins the heat.

Treibball (pronounced Tribe-ball) originated in Germany a little over 10 years ago, and means “push ball”. Treibball is a low-cost, low-impact sport, any dog and handler can play. If your dog has a nose or a shoulder, he can play Treibball!

NASDA Working Dog Trials offer an opportunity for all dogs to engage in scent games previously open to only a select few breeds and working dogs. Competing teams can get titles and championships that showcase their merits and abilities within hunt and search situations.

he NACSW was founded to ensure the highest standard of excellence and structure for these competitors in this new sport. Our Education Division followed soon after as many of our participants wanted to share this fun activity and sport with others.
